We are big fans of big packages, no question about it. That's why you can find most of our items in large value packs, much bigger than what you usually find in the supermarket. Another advantage of our trays is the freshness - of course our smaller packages and bulk packs also remain fresh when stored correctly, but we know how it is - sometimes you simply forget to close the package correctly. What is the difference between trays and bulk items?
Trays mostly consist of multiple normal sized packages. For example, you could buy our almonds in a 23 kg bag as a bulk item or order a tray of almonds, in which you would get 10 x 1kg packages. The bulk package will have a significantly larger quantity of product than the tray, but only one layer of packaging. The trays are sets with multiple of our regular sized items. And you obviously save money on both trays and bulk packages as compared to the regular price.
What makes these trays special?
On the one hand the lower price is a clear advantage: by bundling the products, we can offer a lower price as compared to individual items, you get a discount on the trays. On the other hand, you can build up an inventory so you don't have to worry about going shopping for a while. And don't forget, you also save time: it's a lot easier to get a tray of organic ginger shots than to add the ginger shot to your basket 12 times!
Which products are available in trays?
Our tray selection currently consists of our must-haves. This includes gluten-free oats and psyllium, and our dried fruits such as honey melon, figs and dried raspberries are also available in trays. How can I use the trays?
The great thing about trays is definitely that you solve your inventory problem, by allowing you to buy your favorite products in larger quantity. It also helps you avoid the stress of going out to the store. Let's be honest, a single bag of crisps is never enough! With a tray of our organic sweet potato crisps, you don't have to decide whether to open a bag now or save it for later. The same is true for apple sauce: a jar of apple sauce can be empty in the blink of an eye, so we now offer our best organic apple sauce in a 6 x 700 g tray!
How large are KoRo's trays?
This question does not have a single answer, as it depends on each product. Our organic curry-mango spread is available in a 12 x 400 g tray, while our organic whole grain spelt fusilli can be ordered as a 2 x 2 kg tray. Our peanut butter trays include 6 x 500 g, and the same is true for its crunchy version. As you can see, it varies from product to product.
