Our cacao nibs are obtained from cacao beans from organic farming. After harvesting the cacao fruit, which takes place twice a year, the cacao beans are separated from the pulp, dried and fermented. The obtained Cocoa beans are peeled and broken into bite-sized pieces. Now one has the conventional Cocoa nibs cocoa beans in front of you. But we go one step further and pair them with cocoa paste and panela - and you have your mildly tart and slightly sweet favorite topping!
Our organic cocoa nibs have a shelf life of at least two years after their production in the original sealed packaging. You can find the exact best before date on your package. We recommend that you store your organic cocoa nibs in panela in a cool, dry and light-protected place.

unfortunately disappointing

We were really looking forward to it but unfortunately they are standing around and nobody touches them. We think that the panela sometimes tastes quite strange - almost like burnt BBQ breading. That was unfortunately an expensive fun and a little disappointment :(

Matter of taste

Have us unfortunately not so convinced taste. Taste funny sweet and somehow "burnt". In yogurt with many other toppings edible, but we will unfortunately not buy again.

Good alternative for the "nut feeling

I had organic cacao nibs in panela in the advent calendar and I am very excited. I used them as an alternative to dark chocolate chips, only to find that the crunchiness of the nibs also gives the mouthfeel of nut pieces. Boring in your opinion? Not if you have a nut allergic in the family and then get cravings for cakes / cookies with nut.😊 I hope that organic cacao nibs in panela is soon available again, so I can include it in my stock.

Richtig nice!!

Pure Kakao Nibs sind mir zu herb, deshalb hab ich diesen hier eine Chance gegeben - und bin begeistert!! Jaja, auch Panela ist im Endeffekt schön klingender Zucker, gesünder sind die puren Nibs, aber es soll ja schließlich auch schmecken :D Man kann sie gut mit einer (evtl. 60%?) Zartbitterschokolade vergleichen. Die großen Stückchen knabbere ich pur, die kleineren wandern in den Joghurt mit Beeren. Ich stelle sie mir auch super vor im Sommer über Nice-Cream!
