Locust bean gum and guar gum are not the same thing. They are both binders that are also vegan and gluten-free. Thus, you can replace locust bean gum with guar gum and vice versa. However, the binding power of guar gum is greater, which is why you need to adjust the dosage in this case. Some recipes use both locust bean gum and guar gum. The reason for this is that the two binding substances reinforce each other in their effect.
Guar gum is naturally gluten-free. You don't have to worry about cross-contamination either, no gluten-containing foods are processed near guar gum.

Guar gum does not have a strong odor or taste. Since even small amounts can bind a lot of liquid, you do not have to expect an aftertaste in your creations. The guar gum flour is slightly finer than normal

The guar gum flour is a little finer than normal flour and also smells a little different.
You can thicken anything with it, I use it mostly for my curd with water.
Caution: do not use too much, otherwise it tastes funny. Also, it's best to mix the flour with water first, otherwise there are lumps.

All good most of the time.

Compared to other companies it is quite good, although it is a bit annoying that they keep raising the prices of the same product being a regular and frequent buyer. On occasion there was an order error sending less than the amount paid but it was solved over time.

It does the job

This guar gum does the job, thickening preparations. Be careful not to consume more than 10g a day, otherwise side effects may occur. The Koro team, the packaging is always perfect.
