Besides our peanut flour and coconut flour you should always have almond flour. At least if you want to prepare your baked goods with a sweet and nutty flour that is also high in protein and fibre. Our flour, made from 100% blanched almonds, is great for baking and cooking. With our 1 kg value pack, you have enough to try out many different ideas. Try our almond flour now!

Nutty flavour from de-oiled almonds

Our almond flour is gently made from blanched almonds that are heavily de-oiled in the manufacturing process. The result is a nutty-sweet tasting flour that is ideal for baking and cooking. It should be noted, however, that the flour cannot be used as a 100% substitute for wheat flour. It is often recommended to replace only about 20 % of the wheat flour with almond flour. Since the latter binds more liquid due to its high fibre content, you should make sure that you add the appropriate amount of liquid. However, the dough should not be too wet! It may sound complicated in theory, in practice, however, it is half as bad and absolutely worth it, because almond flour enriches your creations with its aromatic, nutty note.

Recipes with almond flour

Our almond flour can be used in a similar way to wheat flour, so it feels right at home as an ingredient in cakes, no-bake energy balls, bread, desserts, pizza bases and muffins. You can also add a tablespoon of almond flour to your smoothie to spice it up and thicken the consistency. The flour is also wonderful in speculoos pancakes - which, by the way, don't just taste fantastic at Christmas time. Whether it's almond cake, wheat-free pizza or your own baking creations - go wild with our fine almond flour!

Our almond flour has 10 g of carbohydrates per 100 g. Compared to conventional wheat flour, it thus has about 75% less carbohydrates.
Ground almonds are, as the name suggests, almonds that have been ground. Almond flour, on the other hand, is obtained from deoiled almonds. By removing the oil, it has less fat than ground almonds.
Our partially de-oiled almond flour made from 100% blanched almonds is a good alternative to conventional flours. Our almond flour is de-oiled in a gentle manufacturing process. Finely ground, the pure flour ends up in the airtight packaging. The special thing about our almond flour is not only its versatility and flexibility in use. In the 1 kg advantage pack, you can also secure the delicious flour directly in stock. Almond flour, like wheat flour, can be used in baking. Even though you can't replace wheat flour 100% with almond flour, you can incorporate it into many popular recipes. It should be noted that almond flour has a slightly sweet and nutty taste and binds significantly more water than conventional wheat flour.
Please store the almond flour in a cool and dry place. Our Ball Mason Jars are perfect for airtight storage.
In many macaron recipes, almond flour actually means ground almonds. In this case, to use almond flour is rather unsuitable, because it is deoiled and therefore drier than ground almonds. It is therefore advisable to a) adjust the amount of liquid ingredients, b) use our ground al monds or c) to use our blanched al monds. You can then put them in a blender, pass them through a sieve et voilá - you have ground almonds, ready for the macaron dough.
Almonds are naturally gluten-free. However, cross-contamination with gluten may occur during the filling process, as our fillers also process foods containing gluten. For this reason, we do not describe our almond flour as gluten-free.
As long as you consume almond flour in normal quantities during pregnancy, we do not see any problem. However, if you are unsure, you should always seek the advice of your doctor.
100 g of almond flour have 389 kcal. You can find the exact nutritional information next to or below the product description and on the product packaging.

Very variable quality

Ordered for the 2nd time, this time came a completely different quality, much coarser, different taste, moister...
Of course it is a natural product, but in the degree of grinding and moisture should be made but no compromises, harms only the product quality
Hope I get back to the quality of last time, because I liked that much better

A super healthy alternative.

Super tasty and great value for money. As I'm no longer allowed to eat cereal products, it's a great alternative to conventional flours. The taste is great and the first pancakes turned out great.

Cheaper than many supermarkets.

Smells extremely good. Since it has only 10g of carbohydrates per 100g and is the only flour you can substitute for wheat flour without other substitutes, this is a must in any good low carb kitchen.

De-oiled or partially de-oiled?

Somewhat irritating. It is sold as partially deoiled and the back of the label says deoiled.
