Everything at a glance Ginger in dark chocolate 1kg

It's often said that opposites attract. You may not be convinced that this is true, so let us prove you wrong with our ginger, which combines the best of the mild and spicy ginger flavour with the seductive sweetness of aromatic dark chocolate. It's simply perfect to surprise your friends with a new snack at the next movie night! And don't worry: since you can buy our ginger in convenient 1 kg value pack, there will be plenty left over for yourself!

Ginger – one root for everything!

Previously known for its prominence in the Asian cuisine, ginger has increasingly found use over here. Whether as a classic spice to have in the kitchen, as an energizing ginger shot or in its dried version. Following the success of our chocolate apricots and dark chocolate dates, we knew it was time for ginger to follow the same path and be covered in dark chocolate. And the results are more than convincing!

The perfect ginger-snack

If you don't like the taste of pure ginger, but still want to incorporate it into your diet for the nutritional benefits, our ginger chocolate is the ideal solution for you. Chocolate makes everything delicious, can anyone argue against that? All jokes aside, the spiced ginger is perfectly complemented by the sweet notes from the dark chocolate, making them a match made in heaven! Once you bite through the crunchy chocolate layer that's outside the little balls, you get to a soft and pleasantly spicy ginger core. And if all this was not enough, our ginger chocolate is also vegan and rich in fibre, with 7.1 g of fibre for every 100 g of product.

Buy chocolate and ginger for your next movie night!

The little bite-sized chocolate pieces are something totally new and are made to share happiness on occasions like your next movie night with your loved ones. Nevertheless, they can also be used as a reward throughout the day. And don't be afraid to throw two or three on top of your breakfast bowls as a delicious topping. On thing is certain: the unusual ginger and chocolate combination will not last a long time, but thankfully, you can directly buy a large 1 kg value pack from us! Sometimes, opposites really attract!

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Questions about questions Ginger in dark chocolate 1kg

Search in our FAQ section::

What makes our chocolate covered ginger special?

Ginger and chocolate: Fruity-hot meets chocolaty-sweet. It is exactly this contrast that makes the ginger snack so unique and indispensable for your movie night. Taste explosion guaranteed! The advantage: we know how addictive the chocolate ginger makes, which is why you get directly a whole kilo of our noble snack!

Where does ginger come from?

Besides Thailand, the ginger root is cultivated especially in India, Sri Lanka, China, Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan.

How is the ginger snack produced?

To produce dried ginger, the rhizomes are not harvested 2-3 months after planting, as is the case with fresh ginger, but 9-10 months after planting. Then they are mature and have an increased pungency. To reduce this again somewhat, the fresh ginger is boiled down in fructose and then gently air-dried. Finally, it is finished with a little dark chocolate - and the ultimate snack is ready!

Is the chocolate covered ginger vegan?

Yes, all the ingredients of the ginger snack are purely vegetable and therefore perfect for a vegetarian or vegan diet.

How long can I keep the chocolate covered ginger?

Unopened, the delicious snack can be stored for at least 12 months. You should store the small balls in a cool and dry place.

How many calories does the chocolate covered ginger contain?

Our ginger in dark chocolate has 417 calories per 100 g. With 7.1 g, the ginger snack is also rich in fiber.

A happy customer says

Lecker ......

I love ginger in chocolate. Am also thrilled by this product here , if individual pieces are fibrous , this is normal for ginger . Many pieces can be easily chewed and if chocolate is a little white tarnish, it is not a taste deterioration, just for the record. I have this time really nice savings with ginger from the sale. Finally, you offer more expiration goods, that there is often still 4 months MHD on it, I find nice. Price / performance is fully met!

For my part, I would make exactly the same comment. I received some dark chocolates that had a temperature difference. They are 'bleached' and therefore I cannot offer them :( I am disappointed

unnatural in taste

Actually, ginger and dark chocolate is a promising combination. Taste it was but not my case, because it tastes quote from work colleague "something like detergent" " He has brought it pretty much to the point. Chocolate was also white tarnished, I will not order again. Here there are clearly tastier things.

The taste and ratio of chocolate

The taste and the ratio of chocolate to ginger I find very good. Only visually I would not give full marks, because the Schoki was a little white tarnished. But makes nothing at all ;-)
