Everything at a glance Peanut mousse 6 x 1 kg

Peanut mousse is the natural, down-to-earth version of peanut butter; after many successful years in the USA, peanut mousse triumphantly arrives in Europe. In the past few years, it has become more and more popular among young and old. Contrary to some kinds of peanut butter, peanut mousse does not contain any added salt nor oil – just 100 % peanuts!

Our peanut mousse is not only delicious on bread; its creaminess and tastiness make it the perfect addition to, or base for, sauces and dips, and a wonderful topping for your porridge or smoothie bowl. Last but not least: you can use our peanut mousse for baking peanut muffins that will leave your family and friends speechless!

KoRo and nut butters love each other deeply from day one; our KoRo team members are often caught in the kitchen by surprise, with a spoon frozen in mid air, next to the shelf with the nut butters. And, as our peanut butter and mousse are constantly among the bestsellers, we have decided to sell 1 kg peanut mousse jars! Yes, you heard that right. One kilo of pure peanut power. Just imagine all the toasts you are going to prepare with it!

  • Price Graph Icon

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

The peanut plant needs a constant warm temperature, of minimum 25°. This is why peanuts are particularly easy to grow in humid and tropical areas. Our peanuts, for example, come from southern China.

Peanut plants grow up and down

These plants don't simply grow towards the sky like a normal tree, but prefer to develop chaotically. As soon as the flowers turn yellow, their stems extend, curve down, and grow back into the earth, where the peanuts are created from the seeds of the flower.

Harvesting takes place from April to June

The plant wilts about four months after sowing. But don't be sad, this is a good sign! Now the peanuts can be harvested: to do this, the farmers pull the whole plant and its roots out of the earth. Up to 30 peanuts can hang on a peanut plant.

A stop in the Netherlands

After the harvest, the peanuts are dried, peeled, and then sorted. However, their journey does not end here: after arriving in the Netherlands, our peanuts are roasted (with no fat) and then pressed into a cream in huge machines.

First it takes getting used to, then it's delicious

I have to add a star to my rating of 30.09.20
I've become addicted to this mush.
I dared to pimp it with cinnamon and chocolate-flavour powder (I ONLY failed with cocoa taste) I could spoon out the kilo in one go...
must really pull myself together! The last glass was empty in 2 weeks (!!!)
To save money I thought about ordering the 6-pack but I'm afraid that would have a negative effect on my scale :)

The only thing that has been noticed so far is probably the peanut itself, if you eat 2-3 spoonfuls you have the feeling of dryness in the mouth, although the puree consists of fat, it's really hard to swallow but a sweet tooth like me won't stop that anyway haha

Here and there the roast aroma is good, but in my opinion it loses the typical peanut note a good bit. Personally, I miss that. Unfortunately, the kg is not in glass form as usual but in plastic containers. Maybe the Koroteam is already planning to use bi

Strong roast in plastic ?

Still really cool! :)

Price super good, taste is unfortunately not quite mine... maybe because the peanuts are roasted döller. So I miss the full-bodied peanut flavor.
