What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Questions about questions Organic coconut oil - 10 L bucket

Search in our FAQ section::

What is the difference between coconut oil and coconut butters?

The difference lies in the production or extraction. Coconut butter is produced by grating, drying and grinding the white pulp of the nuts. For coconut oil, the vegetable oil is pressed from the pulp. Coconut oil thus contains only the filtered fat portion of the nut, and coconut butter corresponds to the contents of the pure coconut. Coconut butter is particularly suitable for sweetening dishes, whereas coconut oil can also be used for frying and cooking - a real all-rounder.

How is KoRo organic coconut oil produced?

Our organic coconut oil is cold pressed and differs from industrially produced refined coconut oil in its quality. We only use fruits from organic farming. Cold pressing is especially important to process the freshly harvested coconuts quickly to avoid contamination or spoilage of the valuable pulp and to ensure a pleasant taste. Thus, the fruit is opened by hand soon after harvesting, peeled, crushed into pieces and immediately pressed. The organic coconut oil thus obtained is neither refined, bleached nor deodorized. We also deliberately avoid chemical additives and preservatives - the organic coconut oil is merely filtered and bottled on site in sterile glass containers that pop when you first open them at home.

How many calories does 1 tablespoon of coconut oil have?

One tablespoon of coconut oil (about 13.6 g) has about 122 kcal. You can find the exact nutritional values under or next to the product description as well as on the product packaging.

How do you make deodorant from coconut oil?

To make a coconut oil baking soda deodorant, simply mix 3 tsp coconut oil, 2 tsp baking soda and 2 tsp potato starch. Mix the ingredients with a spoon and you have a natural deodorant made from just three ingredients!

Is the coconut oil organic?

Yes, the coconuts used to make KoRo's oil are 100% organic.

Is coconut oil vegan?

Coconut oil is made from 100% coconuts, making it completely vegan. You can use it as a substitute for butter in baking and cooking - but also as a vegan skin and hair care product.

Can coconut oil be used for frying?

Yes, conventional oil can be replaced with our heat-resistant coconut oil. It is popular in Asian cuisine, but can also add an exotic, subtle coconut touch to other creations.

How do I store coconut oil?

The best way to store coconut oil is in the kitchen cabinet at room temperature. There is no need to store coconut oil in the refrigerator. Even though we would love to see the refrigerator where a 10 liter coconut oil bucket fits next to the daily groceries ...

Can you make your own toothpaste with coconut oil?

Yes, due to its mild taste, coconut oil is very suitable for making toothpaste yourself.

At what temperature does coconut oil become liquid?

Coconut oil becomes liquid from 26 °C upwards. Since it is usually colder in our latitudes, you can usually buy coconut oil in a jar with a screw cap. In warmer countries, e.g. Thailand, coconut oil can be bought in bottles, as it remains liquid there.

Is coconut oil suitable as a lubricant?

Some swear by coconut oil for intimate care or as an alternative to lubricant. The latter is fine, as long as you don't use condoms - they can become porous and tear due to oil. Condoms protect against HIV and reduce the risk of contracting STDs such as syphilis, gonorrhea, hepatitis B and C.

Can my dog eat coconut oil?

Coconut oil is not toxic to dogs, so it is usually not a problem if your dog consumes it. However, it is possible that your dog may have a coconut allergy. For this reason, you should be very careful with coconut oil and test if your four-legged friend can tolerate it first. But, as with us humans, organic coconut oil is also often used for dogs for external application - it can moisturize rough paws and dull fur.

Versatile use and good size

Finally, a good size. We use coconut oil so often, cooking, baking, frying, making chocolate, toothpaste, for the skin. Since the "small" jars were not enough for us :D
