Buy now: Banana chips with no added sugar 1kg
Banana chips always have sugar? False! We do not add sugar or other flavour enhancers to this popular snack, as we think it is perfect and delicious just the way it is. One of Europe's favourite fruits, bananas are second only to apples. Since our dried banana chips are baked in coconut oil, they have a pleasant and characteristic coconut aroma – yum!
Sugar-free banana chips are not sweet
We do not use sugar* as an ingredient, meaning they are not sweet, since we use plantains. If you are looking for a sweeter banana snack, you can try our dried banana strips, or you can sweeten these sugar-free chips yourself, for example with maple or agave syrup.
How to use banana chips
Our dried banana chips are the ideal snack for the little afternoon hunger, as an extra ingredient in your muesli or porridge, or as a topping for various desserts. Also suitable for decorating cakes or banana bread, you can also crush the chips and add them to the bottom of your cheesecake!
*The banana chips contain naturally occurring fructose (15 g/100 g).

Climate impact
At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. We are now passing this information on to you so that you can make informed purchasing decisions and keep an eye on your personal carbon footprint. We also use these valuable findings ourselves, to try to make our supply chains even smarter in the future and monitor our CO2 footprint.
CO₂ emissions by product
To make the work of our sustainability team easier, we have teamed up with the company Cozero. They support us with their decarbonisation software to calculate the CO2 emissions of our products. Our products go through a lot before they make their way into your pantry or snack bowl, so there is a lot to take into consideration: production, packaging, and logistics – to name just the big steps.
