What is Tuscan kale?

Tuscan kale, also known as palm tree kale or cavolo nero, is not the most famous vegetable. But we at KoRo always like to discover new products and share them with our community. Palm tree kale is a variety of vegetable cabbage, which also includes, for example, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower. It is grown mainly in Italy and is therefore also known to us as Italian kale or Tuscan kale. It was given its name because of its long leaves, which look like palm fronds. Depending on the variety, Tuscan kale is dark, blue or black green. Taste-wise, you can compare it to kale, but palm tree kale is a little sweeter - we love it!
