Everything at a glance Dried organic papaya

The papaya comes from tropical Central America and southern Mexico. The papaya was already cultivated in the days before Columbus. The name goes back to the word ababai, which was called tree of health among the native Indians. The plant belongs to the family of melon tree plants.

Papaya has a slightly sweet and very aromatic taste. This tropical fruit contains almost 90% water and therefore is very low in calories. Papaya also contains almost twice as much Vitamin C as an orange!

  • Price Graph Icon

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

slightly sourish aroma, not as intensive in taste as e.g. mangos from KoRo

Consistency is like a beef jerkey. The smell is very light and tropical, reminds me immediately of vacation. They are very slightly acidic in taste and generally not as intense as, for example, the dried mangoes. I like to snack on them throughout the day, and they are also great in muesli.

Hard, tough, tasteless

Unfortunately, the papaya strips do not meet my taste at all. Hard, tough, difficult to chew, little taste. I would not buy them again.
