What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Questions about questions Dried apple-rings 1 kg

Search in our FAQ section::

Why does dried fruit contain more calories?

Because of he drying procedure, the fruit looses its liquid which results in mostly carbs and fibre being left over. This results in calories being higher per 100grams.

What kind of apple do you use for your dried Apple Rings?

Not every kind of apple is useful for drying. For example apples which are already fallen of trees by themselves and have little pressure marks on them are not as appropriate. We normally use Golden Delicious, Boskoop or Elstar apples.

How do I store my Apple Rings best?

The Rings are stored best in little air safe containers in a cool and dry place, with minimum sunlight exposer. If they are stored in the right place they are durable for at least a year.

Can I make dried Apple Rings myself?

It's very easy to make homemade Apple Rings. Firstly you should take out the seeds and then cook them for a little bit in boiling water. Afterwards you can cut them into rings and put them in the oven for 2 hours to dry out.

What makes KoRo's apple rings special?

Our apples are gently dried so that they reach their soft, tender consistency. Unlike many other manufacturers, our apple rings come without sulfur and additional sugar - just pure apple pleasure.

How many calories do the apple rings contain?

100 g of our dried apple rings have 243 kcal. You can find the exact nutritional values next to or below the product description and on the product packaging.

Are apple rings healthy?

Healthy is above all a balanced and wholesome diet. It is also important to eat a varied diet. Fruit is always a good choice, but you should not eat only dried fruit - even if the temptation is great!

Can I make apple rings myself at home?

Sure, you can also make dried apple rings yourself. First, the apples should be cored and briefly simmered in sugared water in one piece. Then they are cut into slices. The apple rings are then dried in the oven at a temperature of 80-100°C for two hours. The best way to make dried apple rings is in an automatic dehydrator. But let's face it - we've already done the work for you, avoiding any additives like sugar. So instead of drying the apple rings yourself, with a few clicks you can enjoy our sweet apple rings in just a few days.

Which varieties of apples are best suited to make apple rings?

Not all apple varieties are suitable for the production of dried apple rings. Boskoop, Elstar or Golden Delicious in particular are suitable apple varieties for drying. Fallen fruit or apples with bruises, on the other hand, are not suitable.

What is the difference between apple rings, chips and chunks?

Apple rings or apple chips? We have also asked ourselves this question and decided to include both in our selection, so that you are spoiled for choice. As the name suggests, our apple chips are crispy chips. Our dried apple rings, on the other hand, have a soft, tender consistency. And let's not forget our freeze-dried apple pieces. All of these apple variations have their place in our store - only you can know what you like best. So what are you waiting for? Try our apple selection now.

Are KoRo's apple rings vegan?

Yes, our dried apple rings are vegan. They consist exclusively of apples and are therefore purely vegetable.

How should the apple rings be stored?

To keep them juicy, seal them in an airtight jar, such as our Ball Mason Jar. You should store them in a cool and dry place.

A healthy addiction

When my order arrived, I immediately had to try the dried apple rings. I have only eaten freeze-dried apple rings until now. And now I really wanted to try the dried ones. Since I can also imagine them well in my breakfast punch cut small. And I am in love. The bag will not last long so delicious they are. Will definitely order again.

Unfortunately not regional

We liked them, but we don't understand why you, who are trying to be environmentally and climate friendly, import a regional product like apples from China.
Unfortunately, the indication of origin did not catch our eye until after we had bought the product. From this point of view, we can unfortunately not recommend this product.

Hey PaKa, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we have to give you here simply right and are pleased about your honesty. Currently, we are always looking for the best quality and taste products herraus. However, should a significantly greater demand for organic and regional products become apparent over time, then we will hopefully also increasingly focus on these characteristics. At the moment this is unfortunately not yet possible. Kind regards from your KoRo Team :)

Hey Karin, thanks so much for your feedback. It's quite normal that the apple rings look soft, because they are. If you prefer crispy apples, then you should try our apple chips. Kind regards from your KoRo team :)
