Everything at a glance Vegan cocoa protein porridge 1 kg

Scotland - the land of green meadows, comfortable knee-length skirts for men and distilled whiskey that literally knocks you off your feet. A particularly tasty invention that should not be missing from any breakfast table in a balanced diet is an oatmeal called "porridge". An old Scottish proverb says: Eat porridge that let yo' grow hair on yo' chest me laddy! We'll leave that for now. But our protein-rich porridge will give you plenty of energy. Discover our delicious porridge in cocoa flavour for a Scottish start to your day. Buy vegan protein porridge with cocoa now!

Easily prepare your porridge bowl

As you know, we consider you royalty. That's why our porridge consists among others of whole grain oats, sunflower protein, dates, reduced-fat cocoa powder and roasted cocoa beans and is ready to eat in almost no time. It is incredibly simple to prepare: simply mix 55 g of the product into 150 ml of warm milk or plant drink. Stir constantly, letting the mixture cook for about 1 minute. You should now have a sweet and aromatic porridge. "Tidy", as the Scots would say. According to individual preference, you can now complement your porridge with whatever toppings you enjoy. How about some finely ground Ceylon cinnamon, paradisiac grated coconut or a spoonful of creamy cashew butter? There are no limits to your creativity! You can, of course, have a look into our  Food Journal for further inspiration. Breakfast is, famously, the most important meal of the day. With a tasty porridge bowl, it is twice as fun to start the day off!

Porridge – tradition with an upgrade

The British porridge is full of tradition.

Scottish working-class families used to eat porridge, which was then a mixture of water and oatmeal, at different times of the day. Nowadays, it is served in numerous versions. In the USA, it is also known as "oatmeal". However, the basic recipe is always the same: oats are mixed with water, milk or a vegetable alternative, such as oat drink, to make a cereal porridge. Depending on individual taste, you can enhance the mix with toppings, or you can try the original Scottish version without any other ingredients.

What makes our porridge special

In addition to being super quick to prepare, our protein porridge has other convincing advantages: for example, our sweet, slightly chocolatey porridge is purely vegetable and also has a remarkable fibre content. We literally don't use refined sugar. The pleasant sweetness of our porridge mixture comes from dates and a little xylitol. In addition, our vegan porridge has a high protein content and is therefore a great source of protein after a strenuous workout. It's not for nothing that Scotland is the land of the tree trunk throwers. Discover our protein porridge and dine like true Scotsmen. Order vegan protein porridge with cocoa now!

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.
