Where do these Aseel dates come from?
Our unpitted Aseel dates are grown in Pakistan, where they absorb sunlight and heat the whole year long. This is why they are so wonderfully sweet!
How are the dates unpitted?
Firstly, the pits are removed from the dates' sides with a machine. The second step of this process is called milling: a rolling mill takes care of eliminating every single possible splinter or remainder of pits. The dates do look a bit beaten afterwards, but they certainly don't lose their taste!
