Where do these figs come from?
Fig trees love the Mediterranean region - and how can we blame them! Our snack figs come from Spain, where the sweet fruits are, after the harvest, dried and then freshly packed for you.
What are the nutrtional values of these figs?
Our snack figs have about 260 kcal per 100 grams. Since our figs are dried, you cannot compare their nutritional values with those of fresh figs. You can the detailed values in the nutritional table next to the product description.
Can I give some of these figs to my dog?
Since our figs do not contain large seeds, they do not pose any danger. However, whether your dog can tolerate them depends on the individual animal. Under no circumstances should excessive consumption take place, but we are sure that your dog is going to be happy to receive one or two of our snack figs as a treat!
Can I use these figs to make fig mustard myself?
Yes of course! If you have already chosen a recipe, you can simply replace the figs with our snack figs. Otherwise you can easily use the following recipe: soak 200 grams of our figs in water or orange juice for about six hours, add 250 grams of medium-hot mustard, mix well and - done!
How long do KoRo's figs keep?
After our snack figs have been packaged, they keep for at least nine months. Ideally, you should store them in an air-tight container which you place in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight. Thus, a unique taste experience is always ensured!
Do I have to peel them?
No, you don't! True to their name, the snack figs are ready to be enjoyed, and their skin is a delicious and perfectly edible part of the taste experience: bite into them and enjoy!
Are these dried figs unsweetened?
Of course! With us you always get the best, free of unnecessary frills. Thanks to their natural sweetness, our figs need absolutely no added sugar and are super delicious just the way they are.
