Vegan crumble cake

Step 1

Sift the flour into a bowl. Warm the soy drink on low heat. Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm soy drink. Be careful, only lukewarm. The yeast will be killed by too high temperatures. Stir 4 tablespoons of flour from the 500g flour into the soy drink. Add a pinch of sugar and let the resulting porridge rest covered for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Mix the flour with sugar and salt. Cut the butter into small flakes and add the yeast mixture. Mix everything together to form a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour.

Step 3

In the meantime, prepare the crumbles. Mix all the ingredients together to make crumbly crumbles. Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and place it on a greased baking sheet. Spread the apples evenly and cover the whole with the crumble.

Step 4

Bake at 180 degrees hot air for 20-25 minutes.
