First, wash and peel the potatoes and kohlrabi. Then cut these into cubes.
Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Then add only the kohlrabi cubes to the water for now and simmer them for 10 minutes at medium temperature.
Add the potato cubes and simmer for another 20 minutes.
Drain the water and using a potato masher, mash the potatoes and kohlrabi into a uniform mass.
Heat almond milk, salt, pepper and oil in another pot. Then add this to the potato and kohlrabi mixture and whisk to combine. If necessary and depending on the desired consistency, further process the mash with a blender.
