Does semolina porridge make you think of your childhood? Maybe your favorite meal at grandma's was this creamy porridge that tastes great with any topping. Whether it was the love with which the dish was prepared or the very special ingredients that only the grannies of this world know, semolina porridge has always tasted good! To give you a moment of pleasure and reminiscence, we've put together an easy and quick recipe for creamy vanilla semolina porridge with macadamias. Have fun with the dish!

Ingredients (for 1 serving):

  • 50 g spelt semolina
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla pudding powder
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 350 ml (macadamia) milk
  • Agave syrup
  • Toppings: 80 g frozen raspberries, 1/2 tsp locust bean gum, a little water, handful of macadamia seeds


First, bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan. Then mix spelt semolina with pudding powder and vanilla, and gradually stir it into the milk. After that, turn down the heat and let the porridge simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly. You may need to add a little more milk. The whole thing is best sweetened with agave syrup. Next, heat the frozen raspberries with a little water in a pot. Now you can add the carob bean gum and let it thicken to the desired consistency. Finally, fill the semolina porridge into a bowl and garnish with the berry sauce and macadamia seeds. Enjoy!
