Everything at a glance Partly de-oiled gold flaxseed flour 1 kg

If one of your favourite things ever is baking your own bread, and you are always looking for new alternatives to conventional flours, we might have what you need: say hello to our new golden flaxseed flour. Buy this fantastic golden flour now in its practical one-kilo value bag, and get ready to take your bread game to a whole new level!

Flaxseed flour from golden leinseed

Our flax flour is the perfect alternative to conventional flours: super versatile and rich in extras, it is actually a real protein bomb and, also thanks to its high fibre content, almost unbeatable! In addition, this flour is naturally gluten-free – nice, isn't it? Moreover, flaxseed flour is in no way inferior to wheat flour when it comes to cooking or baking!

Brown vs. golden flax seeds

Now you are probably wondering about the difference between the two flax seeds, right? More often available in stores and supermarkets, brown flaxseeds are a more common ingredient; the golden variety is in fact a separate breed. The biggest difference between the two is obvious: the colour. But their taste is not exactly the same either, as the golden seeds taste slightly milder than their brown counterparts, which result in a nuttier, more intense tasting powder. However, what both have in common is a high swelling capacity! Both flours absorb a lot of water and swell a lot. Therefore, you should make sure you have enough liquid during preparation; the best thing to do is to let your dough stand for a minute longer and wait to see if any more water is needed.

Must-try recipes

Do you want to add more protein to your diet or are you watching your carbohydrate intake? Easy! What about a crispy flaxseed pizza dough, or a moist protein bread? Take a look at our Food journal section to find many healthy and delicious recipes that you can both follow and modify; you just have to replace the flour we use with this one. But remember that linseed flour binds much more strongly than gluten-rich flour, which means that, in general, you should add a bit more liquid to you dough until you obtain a texture that satisfies you. Our flour is also ideal for thickening sauces and replacing eggs! What are you waiting for! Buy a kilo of our miracolous flaxseed flour and have fun with experimenting in your kitchen!

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Questions about questions Partly de-oiled gold flaxseed flour 1 kg

Search in our FAQ section::

Can I replace flour with this flaxseed flour simply 1:1?

Not quite: you have to be aware that flaxseed binds a lot of water! This means that you are going to have to use a significantly larger amount of liquid or simply reduce the amount of flour.

Is linseed flour gluten-free?

Our golden flaxseed flour is naturally gluten-free, as it does not have any gluten-containing ingredients. However, cross-contamination with gluten may occur during the manufacturing process, and we cannot therefore describe it as gluten-free.

Can I use flaxseed flour as an egg replacement?

Yes - and it works wonderfully! Simply mix one tablespoon of gold flaxseed flour with three tablespoons of hot water, let the mixture rest for a moment, and voilà!, you have created a perfect gold linseed egg.

Is KoRo's linseed flour high-fibre?

Our golden flaxseed flour has an average of 42 grams of fibre per 100 grams; this makes the beautiful-looking flour a real bomb! But be careful: as healthy as fibre is, you shouldn't consume too much of it. You can find all other nutritional values about our gold flaxseed flour next to the product description.

Can I use this flour for my pet's food?

We have a category dedicated to balanced and healthy pet food. If you still want to give flaxseed to your pets, we advise you to add some whole or ground flaxseed to the food of your dog, horse, chicken, bird, rabbit or dinosaur.

Is KoRo's gold flaxseed flour organic?

Yes! This golden flour is made of 100% organically grown golden flaxseed, which consequently makes our flour organic - yay!

What can I use this gold flaxseed flour for?

Savoury dishes in particular can be pimped with flaxseed flour! Whether quiche, pizza or bread, this golden and high-fibre flour give every dish a delicious touch. For sweet dishes, however, we would advise you to rather use nut flour; if you don't have it at hand, you can of course always sweeten the flaxseed flour a bit!

Super product

Tastes more neutral than conventional linseed flour made from brown linseed. I use it to bind sauces or as an additive for homemade spreads or hummus.
