That's why you can find everything your vegan heart desires in our online shop! From classics like Italian pesto and plant-based drinks all the way to fruity gummy bears – all without any animal ingredients! Through our large vegan product selection, we show you the diversity of vegan nutrition. You can find countless recipes for vegan baking and cooking in our Food Journal, so that you can experiment with our meat alternatives and more!

Vegan baking made easy

Did your veganuary fail miserably again because you had no idea on how to bake your partner's birthday cake with no eggs? With our vegan products, your next cake will be purely plant-based and incredibly tasty!

Vegan baking with no eggs

How can I bake if I can't use eggs? Its actually not that hard when you have the right products on hand! Introducing vegan eggs: you read that correctly, we have been using our vegan egg substitute to create vegan muffins, pancakescookies and more. If you bake every day and want something to alternate with our vegan egg substitute powder, you can easily use golden flax seeds, chia seeds and flax seeds as egg substitutes with a nutty aroma. From now on, you don't need a chicken on your balcony to be prepared for the next baking session!

Replacing eggs

How can I replace eggs? Its the biggest question facing vegan bakers. But don't worry, we went and did our research. You can create your own vegan egg using:

  • - 1 tbsp. chia seeds + 3 tbsp. water
  • - 2 tbsp. corn starch + 3 tbsp. water
  • - 1 tbsp. carob bean gum + 2 tbsp. water
  • - 1 tbsp. soy flour + 2 tbsp. water
  • - 1 tbsp. baking soda + 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • - 75 ml applesauce
  • - ½ banana
  • - 50 g silken tofu
  • - 1 tbsp. flax seeds + 2 tbsp. water

Baking addictive brownies

I would like a brownie with no animal ingredients and an extra dose of flavour, please! With our dark chocolate brownies of death, you will become the ultimate baking queen or brownie king. If all this sounds a bit too dramatic, get ready. Imagine you combine 125 g of melted margarine, 300 g coconut blossom sugar, 80 ml oat drink and 1 tbsp. of delightfully sweet agave syrup. Stir the contents well. Now, add 75 g of aromatic cocoa powder and 136 g of fluffy coconut four to the mix. Now for the best part: add 170 g of our fine chocolate drops, 2 tbsp. of cocoa nibs, ½ tsp. baking powder and a pinch of salt. Stir everything one last time and get your brownies in the oven. Bake at 175ºC for about 25-30 minutes and your brownies are ready to serve! But thats not all, we're just getting started. Now comes our favourite part: choosing brownie toppings! The classics, such as nut butters, nuts and dried fruit always work. But if you really want to convince someone to go fully vegan, we'll show you THE best vegan toppings available anywhere: chocolate protein crunchies, candied pecans and chocolate pretzels. Oh yes, that's how you make a vegan snack!

Could I get a vegan "hot milk with honey" please?

Sitting on the couch with granny, sipping on warm milk with honey and watching old movies — we loved those childhood weekends! As you grow older, and your nutrition starts to become more and more plant-based, you sometimes catch yourself getting nostalgic about those things. We want to help you make even more memories, without having to give up the creaminess or flavour of warm milk. With our barista edition oat drink, you will be the ultimate vegan foam master and can easily refine your preferred plant-based drink with a vegan sugar alternative of your choice. How about making it fruity and exotic with our coconut blossom syrup or mildly sweet with rice syrup? Just like that, you have a vegan milk alternative for cold winter days.

Gluten-free and vegan – pleasure for all!

You were responsible for desserts at the last party. You still remember the constant questions: is the cake lactose-free? Are the muffins vegan? Did you use gluten-free flour? How about refined sugar? — We feel you! — from now on, you simply answer YES to all those questions! The only things you will hear are compliments. Just use our secret weapons: beet syrup, chocolate drops with xylitol, oat drink, almond flour and vegan egg substitute. With these ingredients, you will become the absolute vegan baking master!

Your vegan cheese, meat and more alternatives

Yeast flakes revolutionise the cheese-game

The rom-coms at our ladies movie nights are not the only cheesy things for us. Our vegan mac and cheese, lasagna and risotto are also always nice and cheesy - and without any animal ingredients at all! Yeast flakes are a real must in any vegan kitchen and we can't imagine our days without them anymore. The little flakes have a spiced flavour and are highly addictive. If you love parmesan, just mix yeast flakes, cashews, salt and spices for an instant vegan parmesan that will make all your vegan creations even better! You don't even need to keep it in the refrigerator and it has a (very) long shelf-life. If you prefer melty cheese, use almond butter or cashew butter (or both, we don't judge), water, lemon juice, salt, pepper and yeast flakes for your vegan emmental. Little KoRo piece of advice: add some turmeric to your vegan cheese to get that cheesy, golden yellow colour!

No meat, no problem!

Sausages, meatballs and Sunday roast — having lunch without meat was unthinkable just a few decades ago. So that you can prove to granny that proper home cooking can also be vegan, we found the best possible meat alternatives for you. We have all types of tofu that you will adore: from regular simple tofu to tasty smoked tofu (also available as almond-sesame smoked tofu) to our mediterranean tofu rosso and tofu with olives. Innovation is the name of the game for us, meaning we have a lot more meat alternatives than just the classics. Do you want a vegan chicken alternative? Its easy, use our pea protein strips or your favourite meat alternative! For the barbecue season, we have some secret weapons: our firm lupins and seitan. You can easily make your own plant-based sausages from them. Best of all, you can select the size, shape and seasoning for your plant-based sausage. And you can't vegan barbecue without 100 % vegan mustard and mayonnaise! As you can see, vegans don't have to give anything up with KoRo!

Starting your day vegan

Vegan breakfast bowls

If you think vegan breakfast means sad, boring, water and oat porridge every morning, you are far from reality. We like to start our days with our smoothie bowls and porridges. Breakfast will be a real highlight in your day with our freeze-dried raspberry powder, refined with sweet and sour goji berriespuffed apples and topped wth our crunchy soy crispies – a dream! If you like it chocolaty, how about an aromatic porridge with our creamy oat drink? You're in luck, we're revealing a real secret today. Grab a spoon and get ready: add a spoonful (or maybe two or three) of nut butter to your warm porridge and enjoy the nutty temptation. If you add a few chocolate drops to the warm mixture, they melt into it – and so will you! But one final thing is missing: we have creamy, aromatic, nutty, chocolaty — we still need crunchy! Our all-time favourite in this department: soy protein crispies with cocoa and some cocoa nibs! Never doubt vegan breakfast again!

Vegan breakfast bread

If you are not a porridge or smoothie person, we also have other tasty ideas to start the day. We like to keep it simple, with some date and hazelnut spread on fresh bread. If you like your mornings savoury, you can easily use our organic tofu to make a vegan scrambled egg. Simply rumble the tofu into pieces with a fork, then stir fry it with chopped onions and refine with yeast flakes, turmeric, pepper and paprika powder. Fold in the vegan yogurt of your choice, add salt to taste and serve atop your toast or bread – a perfect dish for Sunday brunch. If theres no time for any fancy stuff, simply throw a slice of tofu rosso in the pan and into a breakfast sandwich.

Breakfast-to-go – for when you are in a rush

When you see all those advertisements on television, with the entire family having breakfast together, you think to yourself: how is this possible?! Most mornings are more the quick coffee to-go type. For those days, we have our muesli bars: our vegan chocolate flapjack is made without any honey and is even suitable for those with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, thanks to the gluten-free oats. We also have your morning plant-based power in all types of vegan energy and protein balls, including salted peanut, cookie dough and brownie flavours. And something else that can't be missing from a proper vegan selection: raw food! We prefer our raw bars with nuts. That's why we offer our  organic cashew, almond and cocoa raw bars. If you prefer it fruity, grab an organic raspberry raw bar.

Brunch 2.0

Team breakfast vs team brunch — the question of all questions. We love and like to do both. Our perfect brunch includes good company and lots and lots of food. Pancakes are a staple at our brunches. We like them airy and light, which is easy thanks to our egg substitute powder . Our favourite toppings include date and hazelnut spread and candied almonds if we want a nutty element. If you prefer your pancakes savoury, add our mango-curry spread or tomato-basil spread to your pancake stack. Top your hearty pancakes with roasted and salted chickpeas and there you are: brunch heaven!

All questions about our vegan section

Does KoRo have vegan supplements?

Of course! We went ahead and added some vegan supplements to our selection. Vitamin B12 and vitamin D are among the main supplements for vegan nutrition, thankfully, we have both!

What is vegan egg substitute?

Baking and cooking without eggs seems impossible to granny. But as soon as you start digging into the topic of baking without eggs, you start to notice that it is really not that hard if you have the right products. You can easily make a vegan scrambled egg with organic tofu, oat drink, turmeric, pepper and salt. If you love baking, you can easily use water, flax seeds, chia seeds or golden flax seeds to conjure up a vegan egg. How is that possible? Thanks to the seeds' high swelling capacity, the addition of water creates a viscous mass that is ideal as an egg substitute in all kinds of baked goods. You can also use fruit purée such as applesauce to replace eggs in most baked goods. And in addition to all this, we obviously have the real deal in our selection: our egg substitute powder makes every recipe possible in its vegan version and will make you the favourite at any party!

Which of KoRo's vegan products are high in protein?

If you are an athlete and want to keep your nutritional plan full of protein, we have got your back! We want you to be able to keep the gains AND your vegan diet. With our soy protein crispies you have 60 % of protein in your bowl. If you want it a little tastier, our vegan chocolate protein crunchies, based on pea protein, are a real source of protein and provide a crunchy snacking experience with no added sugar. If you don't want to carry around 1 kg of protein crunchies around in your pocket, grab a vegan protein bar with hazelnuts. Crunchy in texture and nutty in flavour, our bars taste delicious and give you the power you need for your workout. And we also have a selection of protein powders, of course: from vegan organic hemp protein and organic lupin protein to organic rice protein, we have everything that the vegan athletes heart can desire. We love our plant-based protein sources, how about you?

Is veganism a good path to weight loss?

Weight loss goals are primarily achieved through a daily calorie deficit. This means taking in fewer calories than you consume. Therefore, a balanced and varied diet, sufficient sleep and exercise in the fresh air are good for losing weight. A vegan diet can favour this in that vegetables and fruits often have a high nutrient density with a low energy density at the same time. At the same time, a vegan diet does not necessarily have to be balanced and include a lot of raw vegetables. A vegan diet high in sugar and calories is also possible. Therefore, we cannot assure you that you will lose weight with a vegan diet.

Is a vegan diet healthy?

"Vegans only eat vegetables": veganism is often seen as a "healthy" food trend. However, healthy is first and foremost a balanced and wholesome diet. A vegan diet does not necessarily fulfill these conditions and thus cannot always be described as advantageous compared to a mixed diet. For example, there are many purely plant-based sweets and highly processed vegan foods available for purchase. However, if you as a vegan drink enough water, cook a lot with fresh foods, integrate enough fruits, vegetables, whole grains, high-quality vegetable oils, vegetable protein sources (such as nutslegumes and soy products) and important food supplements (such as vitamin B12 and vitamin D3) into your diet, you are well on your way to providing your body with all the nutrients it needs. In addition to the diet, it is important to get enough exercise. If you decide to eat a completely vegan diet, we recommend that you have your blood count checked from time to time by a doctor you trust to rule out possible deficiencies.

Can I eat vegan during pregnancy?

There are many different studies and opinions on the subject of vegan nutrition during pregnancy. We recommend that you discuss the options with your doctor to guarantee your own health and that of your child.
