Everything at a glance Organic sprouted sunflower seeds

No time for sprouting? We know, it can be a bit time consuming. This is why we sell on our website sprouted sunflower seeds! They taste wonderfully nutty and their texture is more tender, so that they are the perfect addition both to a creamy porridge and  a fresh salad where you need a crunchy touch – our sprouted sunflower seeds are a real all rounder in the kitchen! Another great way to use our sprouted sunflower seeds is to make them the basis for pesto sauces and dip: set no limits to your creativity! Last but not least, they are a very tasty and healthy snack too.

Sprouted for you

Our sprouted sunflower seeds are free of additives and preservatives, and, thanks to the drying process they undergo, keep nonetheless for very long. This means that you can rely on them when you have no time for thinking about planning meals in advance.

The sprouting process lasts a few days: the seeds need to be soaked for two to three days before they start sprouting, during which they must be regularly drained in order to avoid the formation of mould. As you can see, buying our sprouted sunflower seeds saves you time and effort. But, wait a moment: why should we sprout sunflower seeds? The sprouting process lets the seeds fulfil their potential, and makes their protein be better absorbed by our body. As in nature seeds have to wait for months, before they can begin to sprout in spring, the nutrients are concentrated and packed very tightly inside the little seeds. Through the sprouting process, the nutrients simplify, and become easier to absorb. And spouted seeds are also tastier!

Tiny powerhouses

With 20 g of protein per 100 g, our sprouted sunflower seeds are very nutrient- and energy-dense: consuming them in moderation and on a regular basis help you build and maintain muscle. Moreover, our organic sunflower seeds are a great source of unsaturated fat (16,4 g of 18,4 g total fats are unsaturated, in a 30 g portion). These sprouted sunflower seeds are certified organic and will be a great ally in the kitchen, providing you with energy, nutrients, and taste whenever you need a crunchy and healthy addition to your meals!

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.
