Our organic red lentil Fusilli are naturally gluten-free. To make sure that the pasta keeps its desired al-dente and preferably not floury texture, the red lentils are grinded very finely and then mixed up with some linseed flour. Afterwards the flour is extruded by pressing the mixture into the desired Fusilli-shape and letting it dry. During this process high temperatures are avoided in order prevent pasta from losing its nutrients because of the heat.

The Fusilli have a pleasant fine taste of lentil that therefore won't overshadow the full flavour of your sauce.  

Our organic red lentil Fusilli must be cooked for 4 to 5 minutes only. The typical spiral Fusilli are perfectly formed to be covered up all over with you favourite pasta sauce. Therefore they are the ideal pasta in your summerly pasta salad, winterly casserole and, furthermore, they go perfectly together with our red or green pesto.
