Perfect both for a fully automatic coffee machine and a French press, a filter machine and an Italian Moka pot, our coffee will produce a tasty and intense coffee which you won't be able to stop drinking! The perfect mix – a composition of our blends

You can't imagine how long we have worked to finally deliver you the optimal coffee blend mix. Our priority was to select and balance beans that would give you pure coffee pleasure at a fair price with no compromises on quality, and then optimally process them. The result of our efforts? An organic blend of two different types of coffee beans: 80% Arabica from South America and 20% Robusta from India. The beans of the Arabica plant are considered to be of particularly high quality and stand out with their sour and delicately sweet note, while the Robusta beans are strong and bitter in taste. The result of this combination of different aromas is a balanced, creamy-soft organic coffee with a strong personality.

The art of coffee brewing

If you ask a professional barista how to make the perfect coffee, they'll probably deliver a day-long talk. Besides the right bean, what do we have to pay attention to? First and foremost, the degree of roasting plays a particularly important role. The longer the coffee bean is roasted, the more intense it will taste. Strong roasts are used, for example, for espresso machines, while light roasts are ideal for filter coffee. For our organic coffee blend, we have opted for a gentle medium roast which we have obtained using the classic drum-roasting method; roasted this way, our coffee is well suited for all kinds of coffee specialties and coffee-based recipes.

Another important aspect is the right grind. While a fully automatic coffee machine makes the decision for you, if you own a manual coffee grinder, you can experiment a lot with the grinding degree of your beans; when it comes to ground coffee, the rule of thumb is that the finer the coffee powder, the more intense and bitter the taste. Since we wanted to please as many of you as possible, experts and non, our organic coffee has a medium grind. Last but not least, the water temperature and the water-coffee proportion are also important and can influence the taste – but let's leave it at that for now. Experiment with our delicious and versatile coffee, and find what works best for you!

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Questions about questions Organic ground coffee 1 kg

FAQ-Bereich durchsuchen:

Should I buy my coffee beans whole or ground?

In your everyday life, our ground coffee will serve you faithful - it's super tasty and so practical to prepare! But if you also like to experiment with the grinding degree and have a fully automatic coffee machine, then our organic coffee beans are a better choice.

Can I drink coffee during my pregnancy?

Rather not. Coffee usually contains high levels of caffeine, which may not be good for the infant's development. Small amounts might be fine, but it is better to discuss this with your gynecologist in advance. Coffee consumption should also be severely restricted while breastfeeding, as a baby needs more than 3 days to break down the caffeine it has absorbed.

Where does this coffee come from?

The Arabica beans for our organic coffee come from Mexico and Peru, while the small portion of Robusta comes from India. All the coffee is grown organically.

How much coffee do I need for a cup?

We can't be sure about it, because everyone likes to drink their coffee differently. Some like it stronger, some like it a little weaker. As a rule of thumb, however, we can say this: use around 6 grams of coffee powder or beans per 100 ml of drink.

How much caffein does a cup of coffee have?

The amount of caffeine per cup of coffee naturally depends on many factors. Robusta beans, for example, have a slightly higher caffeine content than those of the Arabica variety. In addition, the amount of coffee, the degree of roasting, and the preparation method all have an impact on the caffeine content. However, it can roughly be said that a cup of coffee contains between 40 and 120 mg of caffeine.
