If one of your favourite things ever is baking your own bread, and you are always looking for new alternatives to conventional flours, we might have what you need: say hello to our new golden flaxseed flour. Buy this fantastic gold flax flour now in its practical one-kilo value bag, and get ready to take your bread game to a whole new level!

Flaxseed flour from brown linseed

Our flax flour is the perfect alternative to conventional flours: super versatile and rich in extras, it is actually a real protein bomb and, also thanks to its high fibre content, almost unbeatable! In addition, our brown flaxseed flour is naturally gluten-free – nice, isn't it? Moreover, flaxseed flour is in no way inferior to wheat flour when it comes to cooking or baking!

Brown vs. golden flax seeds

Now you are probably wondering about the difference between the two flax seeds, right? More often available in stores and supermarkets, brown flaxseeds are a more common ingredient; golden flax seeds are a separate breed. The most obvious difference is the colour. But the taste is not quite the same either. Brown flax seed flour is more intense and nutty in taste compared to our golden flax seed flour. However, what both varieties have in common - is their high swelling capacity! Both flax flours can draw a lot of water and swell properly. Therefore, you should make sure to add sufficient liquid during preparation. It is best to let your dough stand for a minute longer and wait to see if more water is needed.

Recipes for your kitchen

Do you want to add more protein to your diet or are you watching your carbohydrate intake? Nothing could be easier! How about a crispy pizza dough made with flax seeds or a juicy protein bread - does that sound good? Then check out our food journal! There you will find hundreds of recipes that you can easily modify. Especially due to the immense swelling capacity, the flour is great for bread dough! But be careful: Here we are again with the swelling capacity. Flaxseed flour binds much more strongly than gluten-rich flour. This means: In the best case, you simply add more liquid - until you are satisfied with the consistency. The flour is also excellent for thickening sauces or as an egg substitute - what are you waiting for? Buy our organic flaxseed flour now directly in the 1 kg value pack and try it out!

Questions & answers: Organic flaxseed flour, partly de-oiled 1 kg
Especially savory dishes can be super pimped with the flaxseed flour! Whether quiche, pizza or bread - the flax seeds give every dish an individual touch. For sweet dishes, we would rather advise you to use a nut flour; alternatively, you can of course sweeten the flaxseed flour extra, e.g. with one of our sugar alternatives.
Yes - and how good! You can simply mix 1 tablespoon of flax meal with 3 tablespoons of hot water and let it stand for a short time: tadadada - you have created a flaxseed egg.
Not quite: You have to keep in mind that flax seeds bind a lot of water! So that means for you: Take either a significantly larger amount of liquid or simply reduce the amount of flour.
Yes! Our flaxseed flour is made from 100% brown flaxseeds that come from organic farming. Therefore, our flour is totally organic, cool or?
We even have an extra category for pet food. If you still can't stop feeding your favorite animal flaxseed, we advise you to give whole or ground flaxseed to your dog, horse, chicken, bird, rabbit or dinosaur.
Healthy is above all a balanced and wholesome diet. However, flaxseed flour scores high in protein and fiber and is one step ahead of wheat flour in this area.
Our organic flax meal contains no gluten-containing ingredients and is naturally gluten-free. Really cool, right? We think so!
Our linseed flour has an average of 36 g of dietary fiber per 100 g. This makes the flour a real fiber bomb. Dietary fiber is an important component of a balanced diet. But be careful: You should not overdo it with fiber, especially if your stomach is not used to a lot of fiber. All other nutritional values of our flaxseed meal you will find next to the product description.

Super applicable

The flour is super finely ground and can be used for anything. Have used it for porridge, raw sanacks, pasta and cookies.

When baking bread I replace 2-3 tablespoons of flour

When baking bread, I replace 2-3 tablespoons of flour with this flaxseed flour. This refines the taste and makes it more digestible.

Great flour alternative

I use the flaxseed flour for baking and cooking. It binds very well and is therefore also suitable for me to thicken sauces and stews by a roux. However, you have to take into account the taste of the flaxseed, you just have to like:) The flour is very fine and not at all lumpy with me, simply top and then still at the price - what more could you want.
