Bananas grow in the tropical and subtropical regions near the Equator which are often referred to as The Banana Belt. This is located between the 38th degree north and the 28th degree south latitude, and offers ideal growing conditions. In 2018, almost 116 million tons of bananas were grown worldwide. The world's largest producer is India with 30.9 million tons.

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Not quite what I expected

It's not really my cup of tea. But the consistency is nice and soft and not as hard as the fried ones.

They're very tasty. They are quite sweet, which is why they make themselves quite good in a muesli without additional sweeteners.

The banana taste comes only after thorough chewing.
But if you let it swim in the oatmeal muesli for 5-10 minutes, everything becomes perfectly sweet and you can finally eat it with pleasure

Lecker:-)

Perfect for oats or my new discovery: Boil millet with milk of your choice and cinnamon until it's nice and creamy... then let sliced apricots and banana slices swell a bit more and enjoy with even more cinnamon and nutmeg :-)

Delicious in porridge/ONO

Top quality, but I personally think there are more delicious varieties for snacking. That's why I use the banana slices as a natural sweetness in my porridge or overnight oats, where they come into their own.
