Everything at a glance

Aronia berries, also known as chokeberries or blackberries, originally come from the North America. These small berries are about the size of dried blueberries but taste very different from what you are used to. In recent years Aronia berries have become quite popular due to their status as a superfood. They are full of calcium, magnesium and iron.

The KoRo price chart

  • Price Graph Icon

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Questions about questions

How can I combine Aronia berries?

The small Aronia berry is has a bit of a bitter taste. Because of that you should consume her in rather small amounts and with sweet things like jelly, juices or smoothies. Especially in combination with Apples and peaches, the little berry is wonderful!

Where do Aronia berries grow?

The Aronia berry grows on the Aronia bush. Normally the the bush carries berries after 4 years. The plant itself is doesn’t need much to survive, just a little sun. The more sun it get’s the more the sweeter and fully matured are the fruits.

Proven quality Of course you have to soak the berries one night before, otherwise they are too hard for muesli. Whole fruit, hardly "broken".

Bewährte Qualität Natürlich muss man die Beeren eine Nacht vorher einweichen, sonst sind sie fürs Müsli zu hart. Ganze Früchte, kaum "Bruch".

The aronia berries can be soaked in Overnights Oats. They are then nicely soft and taste fruity and slightly tart.

My muesli becomes complete with the aronia berries. A very tasty variant, which should not be missing with any muesli.

Mein Müsli wird mit den Aroniabeeren komplett. Eine sehr leckere Variante, die bei keinem Müsli fehlen sollte.
