The tropical "nut" is a real all-round talent and has blown our minds and many more with its juicy aromatic flesh. Did you know that there is an international coconut day? That's why we present our newest treat with out coconut butter. Get into a pure holiday feeling with our creamy coconut butter — buy organic coconut butter now!

Where does KoRo's coconut butter come from?

Let's be honest: what could be better than lying on a white sandy beach? In front of you, the endless turquoise sea. Sizzling in the South Seas sun and just letting your mind wander carefree. It smells of sunscreen and you sip the refreshingly cool coconut water straight from the coconut. Does that sound like paradise? Unfortunately, we can't deliver the beach and the sea to your home. However, our coconut butter is guaranteed to give your dishes a unique tropical flavour! Our coconut butter tastes as delicious as if it had fallen straight from heaven. Funnily enough, it has - sort of - because the coconut grows on huge coconut trees. The coconut, which is actually not a nut at all but a single-seeded drupe, is in great demand, and not only among us. Have you ever heard of the coconut crab? "Small but mighty" definitely doesn't apply in this case, because the so-called "palm thief", which grows to over a metre in size, eats the delicious flesh of the coconut at least as happily as we do - and to our disadvantage is also the better climber. Fortunately, our hard-working harvesters are equally good climbers and have developed techniques to reach coconuts even from the ground. Our coconut butter is made from coconuts from the Philippines, where the coconut palms are grown organically. After harvesting, the flesh of the coconuts is finely ground until the spreadable coconut cream is created, which you can literally let melt in your mouth in combination with a variety of dishes.

Recipes with coconut butter

“Hard shell, soft core”. It is no longer a secret that the coconut is a multi-talent in the kitchen. Our coconut flour, for example, is a tropical alternative to conventional flour types. But not just the "soft core" is valuable. We are also amazed at the fantastic coconut shell and have processed it into a versatile bowl. It's better not to eat the coconut butter on its own, as it only develops its unique flavour as a topping in various dishes. On top of that, the irresistibly delicious South Seas dream is also a great source of fibre. There are many ways to use coconut butter: coconut butter in a spicy curry, coconut butter in a cake, in other delicious desserts or in a smoothie are just a few of the ways to integrate the tropical butter into your dishes. However, you should not use coconut butter for frying, but rather for refining dishes. The coconut butter comes as a firm block, but the oil part liquefies at temperatures higher than 26 ℃ and separates from the coconut meat part. If you want to "tropically fry" your dishes, you'd better use our coconut oil. Of course, we have lots of tasty recipe ideas ready for you in our Food Journal.

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.

Incredibly delicious, like the inside of a Raffaelo, only in healthy ;)!

For me currently the best coconut puree on the market! The price-performance ratio is unbeatable in my opinion. A 450g jar, for this price and in organic. With many other manufacturers, a 250g jar costs much more in proportion. I get along with a glass of this size, really always relatively long. The taste is just as great, a bit like the inside of a Raffaleo, only in healthy (because without added sugar :D!).
The coconut puree is very firm when it arrives. Personally, I like it a bit runnier so I can then spread it over my morning porrige better. That's why I always put the jar in hot water for a few minutes, then it becomes liquid very quickly and is so perfect for me! But if you like the consistency a bit firmer anyway, it's perfect just the way it is.

Unfortunately not liquid at room temperature

Taste top!
Have very much looked forward to the mush, because I really wanted to mix coconut and almond puree and enjoy. When it was delivered it was very cold outside and it was almost frozen. One knows it yes from coconut oil if it settles the pure oil on top. Therefore, I had to let the puree first on the heater liquid to mix the consistencies ok glass. What is not a problem. However, it quickly became very hard again after liquefying. Which makes it unfortunately not a mush. That is a bit of a shame. Because I can not leave it permanently on the heater. Normal room temperature is unfortunately no longer enough here.

Hello Maria, thank you for your feedback. The coconut puree is cut solid in the block at room temperature, but the oil portion liquefies at temperatures >26°C and separates from the coconut meat portion. We will definitely pass on your feedback to our supplier. Kind regards, Your KoRo-Team

"Phased" Delicious

Overall very tasty whether for cooking, baking or on bread. However, it should be noted that the mush at lower temperatures quite consumer unfriendly in oil and pulp splits and you first have a thick oil layer on the surface. Simply spooning is therefore unfortunately not, you have to warm up beforehand.
