So that we can do justice to our daily nut mission in terms of further education and so that you can also be amazed at the next snack evening, we would like to introduce the cashew to you in a little more detail. Cashew are widely considered nuts, but this is incorrect. These "nuts" are actually seeds that come from the fruit of the cashew tree. They originated in Brazil. From there, Portuguese sailors transported cashews to the African east coast in the 16th century to reforest deforested coastal areas. Today, Africa and Asia are among the main regions where cashews are cultivated.

Unser Cashew-Erdbeer-Riegel verbindet Nuss und Frucht miteinander, dient als Snack-Rettung für zwischendurch und ist mit einer freshen Erdbeerschokolade überzogen. Vegan, gluten- und laktosefrei sowie komplett bio!
Ein Cashew-Erdbeer-Riegel (50 g) besitzt etwa 253 kcal.
Beerige Frage! Damit wir zur Cashewnote einen passenden Gegenpart haben und für eine fruchtige Geschmacksnote sorgen, haben wir an Erdbeere gedacht. Durch Hinzufügen von gefriergetrocknetem Erdbeerpulver garantieren wir Dir ein intensiv-aromatisches Erdbeererlebnis.
Sie müssen nach der Ernte getrocknet und von ihrer Schale befreit werden, da diese ein giftiges Öl beinhaltet. Hierzu können zwei Verfahren angewandt werden: Zum einen die Röstung (welche aber mit qualitativen Einbußen verknüpft ist) und zum anderen das Ablösen der Schale unter Wasserdampf.
Ungeöffnet und an einem kühlen, trockenen und dunklen Ort gelagert, besitzt unser Cashewriegel Erdbeere eine Mindesthaltbarkeit von 12 Monaten.
