Varieties and origins

Originally native to Asia and North America, mulberry trees need warmth to thrive. Since mulberries grow at different speeds, they are not harvested and dried or processed, and sold at the same time. China has the largest cultivation of mulberry trees, with a total of 626,000 hectares. Apart from this, there is hardly any data on the production volumes of mulberries, and our map describes the estimated cultivation of mulberry trees in hectares.

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

absolutely delighted

These berries have only one drawback, they are unfortunately not always in stock.
Just right, sweet but not too sweet, soft but still firm to the bite, great flavor & super healthy to boot.
I regularly mix them into my muesli & overnight oats and nibble on them in between meals too.
I can recommend 100%.

Ate dried mulberries for the first time,

Have eaten dried mulberries for the first time, knew these only freshly picked from the tree. Unfortunately, the dried mulberries have a very sour taste, which I personally do not like so much and also does not really remind me of the typical mulberry taste. Taste rather a little like raisins, so my husband now throws them instead of these in the muesli.

Full taste

Very aromatic, intense flavor. Best to soak beforehand, otherwise they are a little firm and stick.
