Since we're on a roll at the moment in terms of oily achievements, we'll just pick up where we left off: Ladies and Gentlemen, after our latest treasures like organic virgin canola oil and organic virgin sunflower oil,  we proudly present our organic frying and baking oil! Admittedly - with all our other cooking oils, like our olive oil,  coconut oil,  pumpkin seed oil,  black cumin seed oil,  walnut oil,  hemp oil  and even MCT oil,  its easy to get overwhelmed: what does "virgin” mean? And what about“refined”? Which oil is suitable for frying? Which one for baking? Which one for refining? Our organic frying and baking oil makes it obvious: the name says it all. Buy organic frying and baking oil in the 1 litre bottle and say goodbye to butter!

Organic frying and baking oil – what is it?

"Baking oils" (also called "baking aromas" or "baking essences") are industrially produced mixtures of nature-identical, natural or artificial flavourings. Therefore, baking oils come in different flavours such as lemon, orange and almond flavour. Behind our frying and baking oil is none other than sunflower oil - quite refined, isn't it? It is made from 100% organic sunflower seeds and tastes very subtly of sunflower seeds. It is therefore a more neutral and versatile kitchen aid compared to other baking oils with artificial flavours. Why we don't call it that, you are surely asking yourself now. Well, refined oils are generally considered to tend to be of lower quality than virgin oil varieties. This is due to the way they are extracted: virgin oils are obtained by cold pressing and thus retain their natural flavours and vitamins. Refined oils, on the other hand, are extracted from the seeds or fruits of a plant by adding heat. Subsequently, the extracted oil is purified from unwanted accompanying substances (refined) and therefore tastes comparatively neutral.

The many uses of frying and baking oil

Even though refined oils differ from virgin varieties in terms of taste and nutrients, they definitely convince with a higher heat resistance and a high smoke point (temperature at which the oil starts to smoke and should no longer be consumed). This alone makes our refined sunflower oil excellent for frying, baking and deep-frying. So nothing stands in the way of your homemade (vegan) batch of red and white fries! Our organic frying and baking oil aka refined sunflower oil is just as great a kitchen helper as its native brother. Virgin sunflower oil is mainly used in the cold kitchen - with refined oil, on the other hand, you can really sizzle and bake! And the best thing about it: the oil is purely vegetable and therefore a great vegan substitute for butter.

Questions & answers: Organic baking and frying oil 1 litre
Our frying and baking oil may contain traces of sesame due to cross-contamination during production. For more information on allergen labeling, see the product page, under "Specification".
Our refined sunflower oil is an edible oil and should therefore not be used as an alternative to a conventional lubricant. Cooking oils, such as our frying and baking oil, should not be used as a lubricant/lubricant substitute, as they are intended for consumption. However, you can certainly conjure up one or the other delicious creation with the help of the oil, which is guaranteed to give you a foodgasm. ;)
Our frying and baking oil is nothing more than refined sunflower oil. Unlike virgin sunflower oil, our refined oil for frying and baking has a neutral to subtle sunflower seed taste. So you can integrate it wonderfully into many recipes.
Clear! Not only Vincent van Gogh was a big fan of the sunflower. In addition to our virgin sunflower oil, we also stock organic sunflower seed puree, sunflower seeds roasted with honey and salt, and the time-tested classic - organic sunflower seeds.
Since you can use our refined sunflower oil wonderfully versatile for frying, baking and deep-frying, it will certainly be empty quickly. So that you can use the sunflower oil as long as possible, you should store it protected from light, in a cool and dry place. The minimum shelf life in the original sealed packaging is 12 months from the date of production.
Oils have been an integral part of beauty care for thousands of years. In principle, there is nothing against also using sunflower oil for skin and hair care . However, our frying and baking oil is refined - which means that vitamins are lost during the extraction of the oil. A great alternative is therefore, for example, our tropical coconut oil.
Behind our frying and baking oil is refined sunflower oil in organic quality, made from 100% sunflower seeds. Unlike our virgin oils, the refined oil is more heat resistant and can therefore be used wonderfully for frying, baking and deep-frying. The oil is purely vegetable and therefore a great vegan substitute for butter. Take a look at our Food Journal and get inspired by numerous fancy dishes for cooking and baking!
Of course! Just like its native brother, our refined sunflower oil for frying and baking is organic: it consists of 100% pressed sunflower seeds from organic farming.
In general, we recommend using virgin sunflower oil instead of refined sunflower oil for baby food, since vitamins are lost due to the extraction process of refined oil. But here, too, the motto is: seek the advice of your pediatrician in advance.
In contrast to virgin oils, you should not mix refined oil into the food of your four-legged darlings. In any case, you should seek the advice of your veterinarian in advance.
If the sunflower oil is no longer edible, i.e. expired, you can collect and dispose of it in the normal household waste or in a sealable container so that the oil does not leave sticky stains.
Healthy is first and foremost a wholesome and balanced diet. Our frying and baking oil is refined sunflower oil. In contrast to virgin oils, refined oils are considered to tend to be of lower quality, as valuable vitamins can be lost during the process of oil extraction through the addition of heat and subsequent purification. In contrast, refined oils score high on heat resistance. If you are looking for a cold-pressed alternative to our frying and baking oil, take a look at our virgin sunflower oil.
Yupp! Our frying and baking oil is made from 100% sunflower seeds and is therefore purely vegetable. It is therefore a great substitute for butter and you can use it perfectly for sizzling, baking and frying vegan dishes.
