Acerola cherry (its cherry-like appearance explains the name) is the drupe of a Mapighia marginata, a fruit-bearing shrub of Caribbean origin. The acerola cherries thrive on relatively small trees in the warm climates of subtropical regions, like Brazil, Jamaica, Mexico, and Florida. The acerola cherry consists of 80% fruit flesh and has a slightly bitter and mildly sweet taste. Its taste is similar to acai cubes or cranberries. In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
