Coconut oil is extracted from the pulp of freshly picked and ripe coconuts. The coconuts are harvested manually and brought to the oil mill. At the oil mill the coconuts are transformed into the coconut oil. During this process crystalline is produced, which is also known as an aromatic oil. This oil is not refined and not bleached. The name of this aromatic oil is coconut oil.
Coconut oil turns liquid when at 26 °C degrees, otherwise it is in solid condition throughout most of the year, specifically in British latitudes.

The fluent communication of our products is part of our companies vision and therefore very important to us. That's why we developed a price graph, which will always keep you up to date regarding the development of our prices. You can see the price of the product as per 100g and to know the reason behind the amount, simply click on the circle.
How is our price getting lower? Mostly because we just skip unnecessary trading stages. This safes us money which results in your product being simply cheaper.
Why is there a price fluctuation? The harvest of raw products is not linear and is very much depending on external factors, like for example the weather or climate. Are these conditions not ideal and the gathering of the product is low, the price gets higher and we have to pay more. This is why we continuously reject contracts with producers that are longer than one season.
So there you go. This is how our price graph makes it super easy for you to understand the price development of your favourite products.
Whats the difference between coconut oil and mousse?
The main difference is the manufacturing. While the mousse is made by drying, rasping and grinding the while flesh of the coconut, the oil is made by crushing the white flesh into little pieces and then pressing the oil out of the chunks in a very slow and careful process. So basically the oil is the filtered part of the fatty coconut flesh, while the mousse is the pure and untouched part.
Where to store my coconut oil best?
The best way to store your special KoRo coconut oil is in your storage room in the kitchen. Room temperature is perfect for the oil, because in the fridge the consistency of the oil might change and it’s getting hard.
Can you use coconut oil to fry my food?
Yes, please do. Coconut oil is an allrounder and you can easily use it for everything that you would use any other oil for as well.
