Everything at a glance Medjool dates PREMIUM LARGE with pit, Medjool...

Medjool dates are the fruits of date palm trees and originate from Morocco. The date palm is originally a desert plant, but today it is cultivated in different regions of the world. In former times, Medjool dates were reserved only to royals, but nowadays everyone can enjoy them. The unique taste of Medjool Dates makes it the most popular of its kind. The taste of this exclusive type can be described as pleasantly sweet with a slight caramel note. The date enchants with the soft consistency of the delicate pulp and its delicate size.

Information
Our dates are natural and therefore perishable goods. In rare cases, there can be found some "black powder" inside some dates which is called Aspergillus Niger fungus. For this reason, we recommend cutting the dates before eating them or slightly mash them with your fingers to identify infected dates. In case of infection please immediately throw those dates away and do not eat them.

  • Price Graph Icon

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Must have for date fans and all those who want to become one!

OMG! A huge box full of delicious, sweet favorite fruits!!! The dates are a real dream: really big, juicy, almost creamy and very aromatic. So far we had treated ourselves to the 1kg box, but that didn't work...as fast as they were gone :-) With the large 5kg variant are now all satisfied (even the wallet is happy!). And I believe: what should I do with sooo many (mega delicious) dates? Pure they are just delicious, but you can also fill them e.g. with peanut butter or use them to sweeten in creams, shakes, dressings and cakes or finely chopped as a topping in salads, on yogurt and Co....ach, there are so many wonderful idea...you'll see :-) ;-) ;-)

Partly mouldy, inhabited by maggots or dry.

About 2/5 of these dates were very good, the rest were either mouldy, inhabited by maggots or lined with their excrements, or dried up. Since many of them have to be disposed of, already hand-picked Medjool dates from the supermarket for 15-20 euro/kg are more expensive than these.
