So sah Dein Senf aus, als er noch jung war
Den kann man schon von weitem erkennen: Auch die Blüten der Pflanze leuchten senfgelb. Man kann sogar schon die Fruchtknoten erkennen, in denen sich die Senfkörner verstecken. Wir finden sie trotzdem immer.
Noch ein bisschen zu knackig für unseren Geschmack
Nach der Ernte werden die Senfkörner gesiebt und geprüft, damit am Ende nur der beste Senf in Deinem Glas landet.
Schon besser
Das sieht schon nach Senf aus: Bevor die Senfmaische angerührt wird, müssen die Senfkörner geschrotet werden. Weil Senf von Natur aus cool ist, passiert das bei 19 Grad ganz traditionell auf Mühlensteinen. So bleiben die ätherischen Öle und Geschmacksträger im Senf erhalten. Dann kommen nur noch Wasser, Salz und Branntweinessig hinzu – und schon ist unser leckerer Senf fertig.

Vielleicht sieht man es ihm an: Unser Senf ist besonders ungeduldig. Deswegen will er auch so schnell wie möglich in sein Senfglas umziehen. Wir sind so nett und erfüllen ihm den Wunsch.

Am Ende hat sich die Tortur gelohnt – wir haben den besten Senf für Dich gefunden. Das wirst Du schmecken, wenn Du ihn aus unserem 680 ml Glas probierst.
