Everything at a glance Marzipan with walnuts 1 kg
December; outside it is raining or snowing, and the glow of the Christmas lights shines through your window. In this cosy Christmassy atmosphere, two very special delicacies should never be missing: freshly cracked walnuts, and all kinds of marzipan creations. Both alone are a real treat – so, why not just combine them? We have consulted our Christmas bakery, and the result of much experimenting is our new delicious marzipan with walnuts, which you can buy in a practical one-kilo value pack!
The latest addition to our Xmas family
If these cold days often transform you in a baker, then you are simply going to love our marzipan with walnut! Added to the sweetness of marzipan, the mild, nutty taste of the ground walnut kernels which are added to it, works wonders. Whether you want to bake your own marzipan cookies, marzipan stollen, or marzipan bread, KoR's nutty almond dough is an indispensable addition to your pre-Christmas enjoyment. But our marzipan with ground walnuts can and should also be used during the rest of the year too: mixed into a juicy carrot cake at Easter, or chopped up and sprinkled on yoghurt, ice cream, or jam and chocolate desserts, this fragrant marzipan is super versatile - let your creativity run free! Even as a pure snack, our marzipan can spice up your typical Christmas treat game; pair it with small delicacies such as our roasted almonds or apple chunks with cinnamon and sugar.
Snack like a king
In addition to the walnuts, top-quality aromatic almonds are the most important ingredient for our fine marzipan. Originally from the Orient, marzipan was for a long time an imported delicacy accessible exclusively to the European nobility and aristocracy. Fortunately, those days are over, and today we can all snack upon this delicate sweet like kings and queens. However, marzipan with walnuts is still a rarity on the market. Let yourself be served like a king, order our delicious marzipan with ground walnuts, and have it delivered directly at your door!
What makes our marzipan with walnuts so special
Our marzipan with walnut convinces with its sweet, nutty taste, and its beautiful golden to light brown colour. As we believe that less is more, we have decided to limit ourselves to the essentials when it comes to ingredients, so that only the essential ones are involved in the creation of this aromatic delicacy. In order to keep your Christmas creations as natural as possible, we avoided any colouring or flavouring; moreover, this marzipan is purely plant-based, and therefore perfect for baking vegan treats and cakes. Last but not least, thanks to the large size of our value packs, we save packaging material and shipping costs, you save money, and there is always going to be enough marzipan in your pantry for the next spontaneous baking session. What is the KoRo price chart?
In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles. -
Why is the price fluctuating?
Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers. -
Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?
Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Questions about questions Marzipan with walnuts 1 kg
What makes this marzipan so special?
Compared to conventional marzipan, our marzipan is refined with delicious, ground walnut kernels, which make our marzipan a delicious alternative that gives your baking and dessert creations an additional nutty note.
Is marzipan vegan?
Yes, marzipan is usually vegan, as it normally consists of ground almonds and sugar. Since we refined ours only with walnut kernels, our marzipan with walnuts is suitable for a vegan diet.
How should I store this marzipan with walnuts?
Marzipan should be stored in a dry and cool place, and, once opened, it is advisable to store it in the refrigerator (remember that this will make the marzipan a bit harder, and it will have to be kneaded warm before being used). This way, our marzipan keeps for up to 12 months.
Can pregnant and nursing women eat marzipan?
Yes. Nutrition experts consider small amounts of marzipan to be unproblematic during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Our marzipan is also made without rose water, which often contains alcohol.
How and what for can I use marzipan?
Our marzipan with walnuts is versatile and, just like normal marzipan, is suitable for baking, for being rolled out, for decorating cakes and shaping marzipan figures. In order to be able to better process the marzipan, you can heat it in the microwave for about 30 seconds at 500 watts; to do this, wrap the marzipan in a damp tea towel and place it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. If the mixture becomes too soft, add some powdered sugar to it, which will bind the moisture and make the marzipan harder. In addition to the many creative uses, you can of course also chop up our walnut marzipan and snack on it!
Does this marzipan with walnuts still contain almonds?
Yes. Apart from the addition of walnuts, we stay true to the classic basic marzipan recipe. The walnuts are simply an exciting twist to our high-quality almond and sugar mixture.
