Can I freeze marzipan?

We do not recommend freezing marzipan. When thawing, the consistency suffers and the surface then unfortunately becomes slightly greasy.

How to make marzipan?

To make marzipan, almonds are scalded with hot water and freed from the skin. Then they are finely chopped and mixed with sugar. By the way, marzipan is not to be confused with persipan. This consists of apricot or peach kernels.

Can I eat the marzipan paste with 56% almonds during pregnancy?

In normal quantities, we have no objections to the conscious consumption of our marzipan paste during pregnancy. To be on the safe side, however, be sure to discuss the issue with your family doctor before consumption.

What can I do with so much marzipan paste from 56% almonds?

You can simply snack on the marzipan pure or roll it out into a cake topper. If you like modeling, then you can also form figures from the marzipan and turn them into great decorations. For the less talented among us do it also the simple marzipan potatoes ;).
