Everything at a glance Hibiscus flowers whole 1 kg
Hibiscus is particularly popular as tea. Its taste is reminiscent of cranberries and is therefore fruity but also slightly acidic. The blossom is not only super tasty when brewed in tea, it is also particularly beneficial. Especially in the cold season you warm your body and soul with it, but also in summer it is ice-cooled an ideal refreshing summer drink.
Our hibiscus have been harvested, dried and packed as whole blossoms very gently. Of course, the flowers are free of colourings or additives and purely natural. You can also use the flowers for decoration on salads, but above all they are an absolute pleasure as a drink.
Recommended proportions: 3-4 tablespoons per litre should be brewed as tea in hot water for 5-10 minutes.

What is the KoRo price chart?
In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles. -
Why is the price fluctuating?
Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers. -
Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?
Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Very tasty tea from the flower
A very large amount and I had to figure out the right amount for the tea first, but now it tastes very delicious!

I drink it every day now and with relish.
Everything went well: The flowers smell great, fruity but not sour when brewed. I could always tear the flowers with hot water 3-4x repeatedly. Great product from Africa.
Super fruity with a slightly acidic note.
Super fruity with a slightly acidic note. Very productive. Perfect as a warm or cold tea. Whole flowers are also beautiful to look at in the tea.
Super fruity, slightly acidic note

Very tasty as tea
Very productive, super tasty as tea or iced tea
A vitamin-rich tea highlight!
Whole flowers, you can simply do without container in the glass or in the cup and also looks just great! By the way, hibiscus contains a lot of vitamin C and therefore perfect for the cold season ?
Not only whole flowers, but predominantly
The indicated dosage can be cut in half without much loss of taste. I find the tea even better then, because it tastes less sour, but still fruity.
Tip:
If you pick out whole calyxes and boil them in sugar syrup and let them steep in the solution for a few days, you will get calyxes filled with sparkling wine that look nice in the glass and also have a nice aroma.
Make sure that the sugar solution is concentrated high enough (preferably 75%) to ensure preservation. The pickled flower calyxes are also ideal as a gift or souvenir.
