Freeze-dried fruits

Surely you will meet your new favourite fruity snack here! And if you find yourself unable to choose – well, let us recommend our heavenly raspberries pieces to you. What exactly is freeze-drying though and how does it work? Sublimation removes the moisture from the ripe fruit during freeze-drying. The preservation process retains flavour as well as nutritional values - and without any other additives! So we haven't added any sugar or anything similar to our raspberries. They have an irresistible sweetness by nature. Pure, the berries are already real favourites among the fruit varieties. But freeze-dried, you experience an unmistakable taste explosion - crunchy and sweet at the same time.

Facts about facts: Raspberries

Did you know the raspberry is not actually a berry? From a botanical point of view, the pink fruit is an aggregate fruit. The colour of the raspberries can also vary greatly depending on the variety: From pink, red and white to black, everything is possible. The raspberry has so much to offer! The fruit grows best at the edges of forests and clearings. So be sure to keep your eyes peeled during your next walk in the woods. Provided it takes place between May and June - the raspberry's flowering season.

In 2018, around 870,000 tons of raspberries were harvested, led by the world's largest producer, Russia. Two varieties of raspberries exist, also called summer and autumn varieties, which are harvested between June and October. Raspberries are low in sugar and therefore in calories, and contain important vitamins and minerals. Since they should be consumed immediately after harvesting, there are now many products that make raspberries durable without loss of quality and additives.

really really good

Quality and workmanship are good, price-performance is also perfectly okay, the availability is unfortunately a pity because these are not so often to order

Delicious

The raspberries taste great. Again, they're very expensive, but when I compare that to fresh raspberries, it's definitely worth it. These go into the muesli every day, perfect. Fresh raspberries are expensive, small bowls and often rotten raspberries among them.
