Everything at a glance Freeze-dried corn

Freeze-dried corn? Yes, you heard us right. Not only fruit can be freeze-dried, but vegetables too - and we did it. This means that now you will find on our website not only dried fruits but also freeze-dried corn! As it is the case with fruit, freeze-drying has advantages for veggies as well. The delicate drying process that our corn undergoes, deprives it of the majority of its water, which prolongs its storage life without touching its taste. Its nutritional values are also basically left intact by the freeze-drying: about 90% of the nutrients of fresh corn are present in its dried version.  But freeze-dried corn shines in the kitchen as well! If you want to add a touch of crunchiness to your salads and soups, it can be used as topping; but if you feel like fresh corn, try

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.

crispy and sweet - very very tasty!

whether as a crunchy salad or soup topping, rehydrated in a stew or just a handful as a little snack in between, they are extremely popular in our household, even with the kids. besides, we save a lot of packaging waste. i'll never buy corn in a can again.

Easy to use and absolutely delicious.

Great idea, with the freeze-dried corn, because you do not have to lug so much packaging material, just because you often use corn.
Also a delicious snack in between.

unerwartet toll!

I thought... what do I do with freeze-dried corn???
Then I bought it.
I can't imagine my kitchen without it.

If I buy corn in a can, the small one is too expensive and the big one always has too much content. With the dried corn from Koro I take exactly the amount I need, pour some water over it until it has its original shape, done. I bought it in November and currently the bag is still half full (April).
Absolutely recommended to buy !!!
