Autumnal Energy Bars

These bars are perfect for the little hunger in between! I always prepare twice the amount, because they are still wonderfully fresh when hermetically sealed in the freezer. The dried fruits can be exchanged as desired and replaced by nuts and seeds.




Cut the dried fruits into small pieces. Combine all ingredients, except the cocoa butter. Let the cocoa butter melt in a hot water bath. Mix the liquid butter with the other ingredients gently, place them in a baking pan and squeeze in the dough with a spoon. Keep the energy-bar mixture in the refrigerator for at least four hours until the cocoa butter has solidified. Cut the cooled mass into smaller pieces. They are best kept in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
