Why limit yourself to home-made sweet granola?
With close to no effort you'll have a great result with a wonderful taste!
Follow the next steps to find out my method.
To begin, you'll need the following products:
A handful each of: hazelnuts, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds
Two handfuls each of : sunflower seeds and rolled oats
5 tbsp mild mustard
4 tbsp coconut oil (liquid, warmed up in a pot)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp curry
-Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix them until the mustard is equally spread.
-Press the mix evenly on a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Place the dish on the middle level of your preheated oven, and bake for about 25 minutes at 160° (ventilate).
-Take an occasional look in the oven, and stir your granola once halfway through the baking, so that it will cook uniformly
-When ready, you should let your granola cool completely before storing it in a sealed glass container, where it will keep for up to 4 weeks.
This granola is a great addition to salads and bowls, or simply as a healthy snack. If you are a fan of sweet and savoury combinations, you could try topping your smoothie bowl or your porridge with it!
P.S. Feel free to experiment with your granola, adding or replacing some nuts with your favourites! Everything is allowed, as long as you love the result.
