- pea-based stripes : 50 g
- onion: 1 pieces
- medium sized zucchini: 1 pieces
- large carrot: 1 pieces
- large tomatoes: 3 pieces
- garlic clove: 0.5 pieces
- paprika powder: 1 tsp
- smoky paprika powder: 1 tsp
- spicy paprika powder: 0.5 tsp
- olive oil: 2 tbsp
- spelt or whole wheat pasta: 400 g
- fresh herbs: 1 pieces
Pour some hot water (or vegetable broth) over the pea-based stripes and let them sit for 20 minutes.
Dice the vegetables.
Press out the remaining water out of the pea-based stripes and season them with paprika powder and salt. Roast in olive oil for at least ten minutes, add the onions and a bit later the remaining vegetables (zucchini and carrots). Let the vegetables roast a bit and then add the tomatoes, garlic and oregano.
Let it simmer with a lid for about 10-15 minutes.
Serve with pasta and season with fresh herbs if you like.
