- Poppy seeds or paste : 100 g
- ground tonka beans : 1 piece(s)
- ground white almonds : 50 g
- white almond butter : 80 g
- soft dates: 140 g
- cardamom: 0.25 tsp
- salt: 1 pinch(es)
In case you're using poppy seeds blend them into a crumbly paste.
Add all of the other ingredients and blend everything into a homogeneous paste.
Should the paste be too dry you can add a tablespoon of coconut oil.
If you find the poppy paste to be too bitter you can add more dates or a tablespoon of maple syrup.
Shape 20-24 balls out of the paste with your hands.
If you'd like you can additionally coat the balls with poppy seeds or ground almonds.
