Ingredients
- red lentils: 1 cup(s)
- red onion: 1 piece(s)
- garlic clove: 1.5 piece(s)
- spices: 1 piece(s)
- salt: 1 pinch(es)
- pepper: 1 pinch(es)
Preparation
Step 1
Place the lentils into a bowl and cover them with plenty of water.
Step 2
Let them soak for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Step 3
Drain the water, rinse the lentils and then puree them together with the onion and garlic.
Step 4
It's also delicious when you add grated (vegan) cheese, herbs, fried onions etc.
Step 5
Roast in a pan with oil until nice and crispy. Serve with a salad, in a bowl or as take away for a picnic.
