We highly recommend the combination of fresh carrot and crunchy walnut kernels! Today we present you the two ingredients in the form of small, sweet Blissballs in the Carrot Cake flavour. Blissballs are the perfect on-the-go snack, providing energy and satisfying the sweet tooth. The recipe is raw, vegan and gluten free. We hope you have fun making them!
Ingredients (for approx. 8 Blissballs):
- 100 g carrot
- 6 Medjool dates
- 40 g walnut kernels
- 30 g oat flakes
- 20 g blanched almonds, ground
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp orange zest
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- coconut flakes
First you should grate the carrots. Then you can grind the walnut kernels and the oat flakes in a blender to flour. Mix all ingredients, except for the coconut flakes, in a blender to a homogeneous mass. Then form the dough into small balls, which you then roll in the coconut flakes. The Carrot Cake Blissballs should be refrigerated for at least one hour and then just enjoy!
