For several reasons unfortunately we had to change the delivery time of our shop. Honesty and transparent communication with the customers are basic principles of our work. This is why we wish to explain to you the reasons fo which we have had to update and to momentarily modify the delivery time, and what is the current situation with the shipments of the orders.
- We currently have a shipment delay of about 10 days.
- For all orders made by Wednesday, May the 27th, delivery is guaranteed by June the 4th.
- Customers waiting for a particularly long period will be refunded. We will inform you next week which customers specifically and how we will repay the purchase price.
Increased volume of orders
Underlying our logistical difficulties there is actually a positive fact: since the beginning of the Corona-virus crisis, we have received almost twice the normal number of orders that we normally manage. This high volume of orders has been keeping us busy for two months, because every order needs to be processed, packed and shipped individually. We are still a relatively small business and have not been able to predict the sudden increase in demand for our logistics planning. It took some time, but we are literally working night and day to make up for the delay and ensure that all orders are processed within a reasonable time.
Difficult working conditions during COVID-19
With the increase in the number of orders, even our customer service is put under stress with more questions and support requests. It is clear that due to longer delivery times, more claims are sent than usual. The entire office team currently works from home, partly in sub-optimal conditions, and personally tries to answer all customer questions and help them in the best possible way. A timely response is not always possible, but we are doing our best.
For us, the safety of our employees in warehouse comes first. To ensure safety distances and proper health precautions, we had to change the work organisation in the warehouse, the efficiency in the establishments is reduced, and this has further slowed down the processes.
Delays in deliveries
We are not only fighting the Corona virus crisis, but couriers and delivery services are also experiencing numerous losses and delays. The actual delivery period depends only partially on us, still many variables are beyond our control: in the future we can and we will ensure that your orders are handled as usual, packed and shipped quickly. In case of further delays in the journey from our warehouse to you, we unfortunately have no influence.
When is my order arriving?
The delivery time to recover the delay is currently about 10 days. We realize that some of you have been waiting already for a long time for their purchases, but we kindly ask you to be patient for just a little longer. We want to do things right - to make sure that you all are satisfied - and it is not easy for us to work and assure our indispensable quality in these circumstances. We want your Koro products to satisfy you completely when they finally arrive home.
