Snack for in between
We like this fig bread very much. As already described for coffee (as a cake substitute) or even for in between as a small snack (not to reach for sweet alternatives :o) ). The consistency is very good, we cut it into small pieces of cake and eat it by hand. The almonds still bring some bite into it. Every now and then you taste a slight anise flavor, which is now not so mine, but fortunately it is only a mild note that quickly fades. We will buy the bread again.
