Origin: KoRo's dried papaya

Our papaya comes directly from Thailand. It belongs to the melon tree family and was already known to Christopher Columbus. Where exactly this delicious fruit comes from is not 100% clear, but according to old records it was discovered in Mexico. In any case, we are very happy to be able to get hold of it in Germany. The name "papaya" probably comes from the language of the Central American natives. In Central America, important fruits were called "ababai", which means "tree of health".

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

The best dried fruit!

Apart from the valuable enzymes that are only found in papaya, this one is really comparable to gummy broths in terms of taste. I am constantly looking for healthy snacks for my son (3). He loves these pieces of papaya. Just like other toddlers!

Unfortunately, extremely hard and not only inedible but simply impossible to chew (suck also does not go) 🥴
Had already read that the pieces stick together etc that's not the problem, you get them somehow separated but you can not eat the things anyway. No idea what to do with it now 😩
I have already written to customer service, let's see if this is a mistake....
