Varieties and origins

In 2018, around 870,000 tons of raspberries were harvested, led by the world's largest producer, Russia. Two varieties of raspberries exist, also called summer and autumn varieties, which are harvested between June and October. Raspberries are low in sugar and therefore in calories, and contain important vitamins and minerals. Since they should be consumed immediately after harvesting, there are now many products that make raspberries durable without loss of quality and additives.

What is the KoRo price chart?

In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles.
  • Price Change Icon

    Why is the price fluctuating?

Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers.
  • Communication Icon

Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?

Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

Ingenious for baking

I use the raspberries for baking and snacking. They are a little firmer in consistency than the freeze-dried ones. In the cake, the raspberries but soften well without letting the cake become mushy.

Next time, let's try the others again.

I bought them after the freeze-dried raspberries were out of stock. Unfortunately, I don't like them at all, they are not as nice and 'airy' as the others but more like hard raisins. Soaked in yoghurt they still work.
