Varieties and origins

Galia melon

Melon candy
Melon is not only delicious when fresh
Dried melon
Thanks to our dried melon chunks, you can now enjoy this sweet fruit all year round. It is perfect on your porridge or smoothie bowls, and for baking. KoRo's dried melon is honeydew.
Melons are one of the most popular fruits in summer, although from a purely botanical point of view they are actually not fruits at all. They belong to the cucurbitacee family, and are therefore a vegetable. Originally, all melon varieties come from West to Central Africa, where they have been known for over 3000 years. Today, melons are mainly grown in China, Turkey, Iran, Greece, Spain, and Italy as they like warm weather, but they can adapt to cooler climates as well. There are no exact figures on the worldwide production of all melon varieties; what you see on the map is an estimate.

What is the KoRo price chart?
In this chart, you can see the price per base unit (mainly 100g). In addition, you will learn the reason for a price reduction or increase by clicking on the information circles. -
Why is the price fluctuating?
Most annual product crops have an impact on the relationship between supply and demand in the market. In the event of a bad harvest, we must also pay a higher price for raw materials. Due to the strong impact of external factors such as wind, weather, climate and natural events on the harvest, we are refusing long-term cross-harvest contracts with our producers. -
Why are we communicating price changes at KoRo?
Open communication is very important to us and therefore part of our vision. For this reason, we would like to keep you informed of the evolution of our prices. Thus, the KoRo price chart provides a transparent overview of the evolution of the products prices over time.

I have never seen that there is dried melon and then also honeydew melon. I had to order it immediately. It is super tasty and reminds me a bit dried mango.
Unfortunately, the packaging is not resealable, that is a pity. Otherwise super satisfied.

Has nothing to do with melon
I can't understand all the good reviews.
The honeydew melon tastes just sweet and not at all like melon.
And the packaging is also totally badly chosen, because you can not reseal it.

Sticky pleasure
Super juicy and super tasty. Very sweet and sticky.
Juicy
Very intense in flavor, although melon in itself is not so sharp as fruit , fleshy and sticky. Heavy and moist... Again and again.
