Delicious dried fruit for year-round fruity pleasure

Thanks to KoRo, you can enjoy your favourite dried fruit all year round at a fair price – the best part is that you never have to wait for your favourite fruit to be in season before you can enjoy it. They are then preserved for a long time through our gentle drying process (usually without added sugar).

Our best-selling dried fruits include:

Apart from our bestsellers, you can find many more varieties of dried fruit in our online shop.

Producing dried fruit

The production of dried fruit is very simple: our fruit is harvested when ripe and then gently dried at a low heat input using special dehydrators or ovens. This way they lose water, but not flavour.

Storing dried fruit the right way

Dried fruit should be stored in airtight packaging, which is why we deliver it in a resealable bag. This guarantees a long shelf life and intense flavour.

Tip: If you store your dried fruit in the bag in which it is delivered, we recommend that you remove the air from the bag each time before closing it. Of course, you can also store them in our stylish preserving jars.

Our dried fruit varieties

At KoRo, you will find dried fruit in all shapes and colours. You can enjoy many different fruits with us all year round and in no way have to do without the aromatic taste you enjoy so much.

Dried fruit with no added sugar

At KoRo, we like to keep our products as natural as possible. That is why we generally do not add any sugar to our dried fruit. The fruits naturally contain fructose and therefore already taste pleasantly sweet. In addition, the majority of our dried fruit is unsulphurised. You can always find the complete nutritional information on the respective product page. Did you know? When dried, fresh fruit loses most of its water, but most of its nutrients remain intact, which intensifies its flavour and natural sweetness.

Delicious recipes with dried fruit

Dried fruit can be used in many recipes. Use it wherever you would otherwise use fresh fruit, such as in an autumnal salad with a fruit component. The best thing about dried fruit is that you never have to worry about whether it is ripe enough or has gone bad. Dried fruit is especially good as a fruity topping for your muesli – guaranteed to give you a good start to the day! Another idea: simply refine your porridge with our dried blueberries or physalis.

All your questions about KoRo's dried fruit

We would like to give you all the information you need about our dried fruit. If you have any questions about a specific product, please check the product specification. If you do not find what you are looking for, please contact us by email or on social media and we will answer all your questions.

Is dried fruit healthy or not?

We at KoRo are advocates of not dividing food into the categories "healthy" and "unhealthy". First and foremost, a balanced and varied diet is healthy. In principle, any kind of dried fruit can be integrated into a balanced diet. However, you should not completely replace fresh fruit with it.

Can I make my own dried fruit?

Of course you can dry apples yourself in the oven. However, you need a lot of time and patience. We have done all the work for you and gently dried our German Elstar apples and turned them into tasty, crunchy apple chips, so why bother?

Can I eat dried fruit while pregnant?

In our opinion, there is no problem with the moderate consumption of dried fruit during pregnancy. In most cases we do not add any sugar and rely on the naturally contained fruit sweetness, such as in our sweet cherries without added sugar. Since the natural sugar content of the fruit is concentrated to up to 70 % due to the removal of water during the drying process, dried fruit should really only be consumed in moderation in terms of a needs-oriented diet, especially during pregnancy.

What is the best way to prepare dried fruit?

Our dried fruit can be used just like fresh fruit. As a topping for your muesli at breakfast, as a snack for when you get hungry between meals or, after being shortly soaked in water, to bake fruity cakes. You will certainly find a great way to use your dried fruit!
